My Take: 

"What You Remember" 

You remember how the city was. 

A living, thrumming sound. 

You were not used to this. 

It scared you sometimes; all those people, all at once. 

Your own living was a quiet street; no need to look both ways, twice. 

The cat could sunbathe on the asphalt. 

But you were re-made in the city. 

Your heart let go of fresh pain. 

You learned to love all those people, all at once. 

The trees were in bloom. The people were in bloom. 

You were all blossoming, together. 

A miraculous togetherness.
